Brief  History of Apple

The origins of Apple date back to 1976. The company was established as Apple Computer Company by three partners- Steve Jobs, Ronald Wayne, and Steve Wozniak. The company was established to market Wozniak’s first computer system - Apple I. This invention was basically a motherboard, a processing unit, and random-access memory. Apple I was released into the market for $666. Apple Computer Inc was incorporated the year after it was established. At this time, it was just Wozniak and Jobs left at the helm of the affairs. Wayne sold his stock to them twelve days after the establishment of the company.

When the company was incorporated, Jobs and Wozniak received an investment of $250,000. Between 1977 and 1980, Apple experienced massive commercial success in sales and revenues, with a yearly increase of 533%. In 1984, Apple debuted Macintosh, which was the first PC to be sold without a programming language. The company had some tough times during the 90s but bounced back in 1997. Today, Apple is one of the most valuable companies in the world.
