The Rolls Royce Story

Charles Stewart Rolls and Henry Royce founded Rolls Royce in 1904 as a car manufacturing company. The first series of cars, known as the 40/50 hp, was produced in 1906. This model had an 8-cylinder engine with a power output of 40 horsepower at 1,200 RPM and 50 horsepower at 1,500 RPM. In 1908, it changed its name to Silver Ghost, and this model set a new standard for luxury cars for many years to come. Rolls-Royce Motors has been manufacturing cars since 2003 when it took over the business from BMW. The two companies have always shared common ownership, but BMW bought out the remaining shareholders in 1999 and changed its name from Vickers PLC to Rolls-Royce PLC.

The company believes in integrity, quality, and excellence. It also supports diversity and inclusion to encourage people from all backgrounds to join it as employees or customers. The staff at Rolls Royce are always willing to help out in any way they can. They are always happy to answer any questions you may have about their vehicles or cars.
