About Autodesk

Your role

Responsibilities:

  • Work on real commercial development projects mentored by experienced Autodesk developers
  • Gain experience working on large team-based software development
  • Learn how to write robust commercial software
  • Gain knowledge of the commercial development processes used at Autodesk
  • Engage with Agile and Scrum working practices.
  • Use source control and Continuous Integration platforms such as GitHub and Jenkins

Training, development & rotation

This role is a 12-month internship program that starts with training sessions to help you develop your technical and professional skills. You will work together with experienced software engineers, designers, and product experts to solve diverse challenges. You'll get to experience the latest in product development, working with software used by hundreds of thousands of customers. As an intern, you will get support, mentorship, guidance, autonomy, and responsibility.

About you

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 120 UCAS points and predicted 1st or 2:1 degree

What Autodesk is looking for:

  • Bright Computer Science, Maths, Physics, and Engineering students for both the eleven-week summer internships and the one-year placements starting summer 2024
  • Programming experience at some level, ideally using a C-style language (eg. C, C++, Java, C#), is desirable
