In 2010, the company stole the headlines after making a major announcement that it would acquire Siemens IT Solutions and Services. The deal was finished the following year. After the acquisition, the company re-adopted Atos as its name. Part of the Siemens deal included the company having a 15% stake in the total value of the newly enlarged Atos.
