Your role

About the opportunity:

Your time will be spent in that specific department, where you’ll work on personal and team projects, build relationships, and solve problems in a complex environment.   • On this fast-paced placement, you will gain invaluable exposure and experience by working within a dynamic environment.
  • You will work cross-functionally with the national buying team and the external providers to ensure all products are safe, legal, and meet the required quality standards.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with Aldi’s products, which present a unique and exciting opportunity to have a genuine impact on the Aldi customer experience and overall quality and value perception.
  • You will be involved in developing and implementing the Quality Assurance strategy, as well as collaborating with National and International colleagues.

Training & development

Throughout your 12 months with Aldi, you’ll receive lots of training and support to help you succeed in your role. You’ll get an amazing introduction to the business, packed with world-class training. And you’ll have a mentor to support you throughout. Then, you’ll get immersed in at least one project, making decisions that will have a real impact on the business.

Career progression

Once the program ends, you'll get great development opportunities throughout your Aldi career. If, after graduating, you’re considering Aldi as a career choice and you performed well on the placement you could be offered the opportunity to join the graduate area manager program or you’ll be invited to apply for a permanent position. Your Direct Leader will need to recommend you first though.

About you

To apply for this role you need to have the following eligibility criteria:

  • Placement Programmes are for university students currently studying towards an undergraduate degree, who are seeking a placement between their second and third years of study.
  • You’ll need to be working towards a 2:1 degree, have 96 UCAS points from your top 3 A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications)
  • Possess a driving licence
  • The right to work in the UK.
